A lot has changed about me over the past year which has led me to writing this blog. This time last year I was a size 24 with no hopes of losing the weight - I was ill for a week in September and wasn't eating because of the vomiting so when I started eating again my portions were smaller. I then cut out a lot of the excessive junk food (that's not to say i've cut out all sweets & treats) I was eating and stopped drinking only fizzy drinks and switched to water and tea. As of 19th June 2013 i'm now a size 12/14 and have lost 6st 12lbs.
Ever since I drooled all over a size 12 red & white gingham print Primark petal dress in a Sense charity shop, I often frequent these & car boot sales..you'll see my finds at some point down the line! Ran like a small child to the changing room and found I could actually get into it did I a) do a little dance right there in the charity I kid not and b) realized that fashion was actually there and ready for me to pounce all over..tentatively!
I've also reached the magical age of 27 whereby for some reason you suddenly decide to accept that you are an adult and no longer one of those "young people"...she says scoffing down her beer bottle sweets from a local retro/american candy shop/cafe! I mean obviously i'm still young at heart, I collect My Little Pony toys, adore sweets and stupid childish things but I no longer feel childish, I think that's the massive difference.
Some random things I love include :: yorkshire tea, tea cups, knee high socks, frilly socks, candles, cookies, cupcakes, reading, writing, entering competitions, fashion, nail polish, leopard print, Alice in Wonderland, PS3, call of duty, tv shows, giving my opinions, retro/american candy, cats, kittens, music (i'll listen to pretty much anything), zombies, tattoos, charity shops, car boot sales, shopping for bargains, My Little Pony, pretty house stuff, homemade items (though i'm useless at any kind of crafts!), WWE & much much more.
I finally have the confidence to be me and for that "me" to be known to the world. It seems like such a simple thing but it really wasn't an easy place to get to.
